Description: 10 Plants Amazon Frogbit Freshwater Aquarium Floating Plants Easy These plants are grown in a mature planted aquarium setting (>10 yrs) with the water temperature around 76-78F. These are easy plants for beginners that provide excellent cover for shy fish or young fry. They are also excellent at using any excess nutrients in the water column while provide a unique look to any aquarium. Just like my Salvinia, my shrimp and nano fish love swimming through the roots of these plants browsing for bits of food. You will be receiving a bundle of 10 plants. Each individual plant has a root system along with 3 to 4 floating leaves on them, usually. This means you will receive 30+ leaves of Amazon Frogbit (other sellers describe their listings by number of leaves, but I describe it by number of plants). The leaf sizes for my stock range from something smaller than a dime to about the size of a quarter. Please note that since these are plants there will be variation in the sizes and look. I recommend that you place these in a tank with minimal water disturbance. There is a possibility that the plants might include little critters, like snails, daphnia, copepods, etc. so please be aware of that. I can inspect them closely if you would like, but there are no guarantees that they are critter free. Shipment / DOA All packages will be shipped with a box containing insulating material, but please keep an eye on your shipment to make sure that you will be there to bring the package inside. Shipping is via USPS Ground Advantage, but if you live >300 mi from CA I highly recommend USPS Priority Flat Rate (this option includes a padded envelope along with an additional box inside for protection). If you have any concerns about shipping to your location, please contact me. Once payment is cleared I typically will schedule a shipment pickup the following USPS business day (M-Sa). If you order on Saturday, the package won't be sent out until Monday. If anything changes outside of this schedule I will let you know. If you find that the plants are all brown/yellow and not healthy or dying, please message me within 3 hours of delivery along with a picture of the plants.
