Description: 1974 Omega Genève Automatic Ref.166.0191 Cal.1012 Swiss Vintage Watch About the watch & condition: Here we have a stunning stainless steel Omega Genève dated 1974. The watch is powered by an automatic Cal.1012 Omega movement and is running smoothly. When time tested it was lost around 45 seconds over a 24 hour period! It has a slightly low amplitude but still ran for well over 24 hours with a watch winder. These could be sorted with a simple service however you could definitely wear it as is. More details below; The dial on this watch looks excellent! The silver looks great with the rest of the watch & condition wise it’s practically flawless! It definitely looks nice sat on the wrist. The watch has its original crystal which is nice & clean with no cracks. There’s a few little scratches but these could easily be polished out. The watch has a nice stainless steel case with the matching crown. It suits the watch perfectly but does have some light scratches & wear around the edges as shown. This is to be expected of any pre owned watch especially one dated from 1974! Has its original Omega branded caseback as well. The crown is the original and has the Omega logo on as shown. It works absolutely fine along with the quickset date complication. Its sat on its original Omega bracelet with the reference 1233/215 and will fit a wrist of up to 8 1/4 inches or smaller. Condition wise the bracelet looks great, there are some scratches from general use which you’d expect but nothing major. The omega integral bracelet itself works absolutely fine & could always be polished up if you really wanted. This is an automatic watch meaning it runs off the movement of your wrist. The watch has a small power reserve however if left for a period of time it will have likely stopped. This is just for the watch, there’s no box or paperwork.
