Description: Lookin' to Recycle the followin' to a new home: 1 Vintage 1978 Milton Bradley Electronics STAR BIRD with original box ( taped ), instructions. A battery operated SPACE SHIP, released during the initial STAR WARS craze. ( please read condition below ) The box Measures about 3.25" tall, Is about 13.5" x 18.5” across body, about 2.5” across base. The Star Bird is about 15.5”. Long and about 11“ wide wingspan Condition: Good+ to Very Good- with a couple issues. The box top has older taped edges. The Star Bird works, makes sounds, ( takes a 9 volt battery and I will include the Kodak 9volt I used to test it. Battery was unopened but is older ). Best I can tell, using the instruction sheet, the only parts that is missing is the gun , part “L” & part “M” gun cover?. Part “G” , a thruster? Is STUCK INSIDE a rectangular STABILIZER hole where Part “D” is supposed to be ( Part “D” ( the second STABILIZER ) is Loose ( shown in photos ), won’t snap into it’s hole because part “G” is stuck inside. This one is minor, one of the part “N” wingtips, falls off when the star bird is turned. ( it slides into it’s slots but doesn’t stay in place. Lastly, photo shows a foam piece on inside battery cover but after the photos, I brushed my fingers on it and it disintegrated into dust, the battery cover foam is gone now .
