In 2020, I was suffering from Hypertrophy Cardiomyopathy. Almost four years ago God gave me a second chance in life and was blessed to receive a heart transplant. My surgery was conducted at Memorial Hospital in Hollywood Florida. Since, I have been on a strict daily regime and take 34 different types of meds daily. That includes several anti-rejection medications that I must be on for the rest of my life. In July of this year my insurance company informed me they would no longer cover me 100%, including one of my rejection meds. I was horrified and now pay nearly $1850.00 dollars a month. I was very upset and knew this was cruel and shameful for a person in my situation. After exhausting myself with customer service and getting nowhere as well as no results I simply gave up. Fortunately, this is the reason that I’ve decided to sell my mom’s estate items and my husband’s coins and baseball card collection. My husband was an avid memorabilia and coin collector. I am grateful to have the collection which is now helping me to acquire some of my monthly meds. I’ am not an expert on coins or sports cards but will do my best to provide accurate descriptions.
