Description: This is a rare set of five Mid Century Modern boomerang shaped small dishes or ashtrays. These can be used for many things and would be an almost one of a kind addition to your Mid Century Modern decor. They were made in Western Germany in about the late 1950's or early to mid 1960's. I've had them for 35 years packed away in of all places, my laundry room. As you can see, their colors, pastel green, grey, yellow, blue, and rose, are the classic tones of their time period. Use them for dipping sauces, nuts, or even as ashtrays. At their longest point they measure 4 1/4 inches and are 1 1/4 inch deep. The blue dish has a tiny chip on one point. The grey dish has what appears to be either a utensil mark or a small discoloration under the glaze. See the photos to see the chip and the discolored line. Also, one photo appears to show a black mark on the side of the blue dish. Not sure why that's there as there is no black mark on the item. There are no cracks in any of the items.
