Birds, Horseshoe This is a nice selection of 6 GREETINGS postcards sent for CONGRATULATIONS events and have the classic look that was popular for that era. The postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s, and show FLOWERS, RURAL SCENES, BIRDS, etc. These are beautiful collector items and the postcards are nicely designed and have a colorful and interesting look to them. All of the postcards are EMBOSSED and they have GOLD TRIM in their designs. They would have been "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915). One of the postcards shows a large gold horseshoe in the middle, with a red rose and large letters for the message. Another shows beautiful red flowers with two white doves flying above. There is a nice vase postcard with yellow flowers that have gold trim. The other three postcards have nice rural scenes with pretty flowers and lace looking borders. The postcards are attractive and capture the classic style used back in the early 1900s. They have good detail. They are from different publishers. Overall, a nice selection of antique Greetings Congratulation postcards that would have been sent out for "Best Wishes" and friendship. These are collector items because of their age, the gold trim designs, being "Printed in Germany", and their interest to and desirability to antique Greetings postcard collectors. The postcards are UNPOSTED (2) and POSTED (4) with cancel dates of 1909-12. They would have been published in the 1908-1912 era. They have DIVIDED backs. These were "Printed In Germany", which is an appeal to collectors. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and are good for a collector or dealer. They will keep their value. Often these postcards are sold as individual items for many dollars each. They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, stains and edge wear due to their age.
