Description: This is the sweetest little girls costume made of crepe paper! During the late 19teens and 1920s a paper company, Dennison Paper Company, came out with booklets that had patterns in them and inspiration for various things like decorating a hall for a party, jewelry making, and costumes that could be made using their crepe paper. This sweet costume could have very well been made using the paper and a pattern from Dennison! It is quite hefty as the paper is thicker than our modern day crepe paper, and was sewn with a machine on a cotton waist band and ribbons. The set includes the dress, hair fascinator and necklace/choker. The shoulder straps have been pinned with silk pins to the dress. It will need to be mended at the ruffle at the hem. It would be adorable in a little girl's room or a fabulous addition to a fashion collection! Please see all photos for condition and any flaws.
