These do dye well as is, however, some people prefer to wash the tapestries with Calsolene Oil before dyeing. It is a matter of personal preference. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact that these are hand made in India, they may have small markings or imperfections created during manufacturing. Most imperfections will be removed when washed or covered when dyed. With that said, I do my best to inspect each one before it ships out to ensure you will be happy with them.
