Dietsche and pictures a member of the very first American League championship team from the Motor City. Card size is 3-3/8" by 5-7/16", features a black and white photograph, brief player biography and standard postcard back including copyright line by A.C. Dietsche. This reprint has the size, look and feel of the original. For the budget conscious it will fit seamlessly within your collection which may include some original A. C. Dietsche cards. It is clearly marked "Reprint" at the bottom on the reverse side. *Type 1? What's a Type 2? Although not reported in the standard catalogs, this card (and others) comes in two types: Type 1's biography is in fewer lines of smaller type (and the first line in stamp block is "United States") while Type 2's biography is more lines of larger type (and the first line in the stamp block is "Place Stamp").
