This Early American Pattern Glass Amber with White Spatter "End of Day" glass bulbous shaped water pitcher is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass that is just the way it left the glass factory many years ago, there are no chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining; I may also add that this EAPG AMBER with WHITE SPATTER "END of DAY" GLASS BULBOUS SHAPED WATER PITCHER is an early vintage antique glass bulbous pitcher that has been used and displayed over many years and is still a very beautiful amber with white spatter water pitcher; This EAPG amber with white spatter pitcher that I have here does have those Early American Pattern Glass characteristics that were done during this era of the glass making process having air bubbles inside the glass, the straw and stress marks, these characteristics were done during the production of this amber with white spatter pitcher and is NOT considered damage; There are numerous air bubbles inside this water pitcher which is par for glass that was made during this EAPG time period; I personally believe that this pitcher is from the early 1900's era of the glass making process, but you can have your opinion also, this is a dandy and unusual water pitcher; There is a polished pontail on the bottom of this pitcher, along with a clear applied reeded handle, there is no heat checks anywhere around this applied handle either at the bottom of this handle nor at the top of the handle; The clover leaf shape top along with the according ruffle edge adds quite a bit of character to this big boy; I've taken numerous photo's showing a lot of angles with flash and outside in natural daylight to show pattern, condition, and size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.
