The case is very well made and is quite heavy.Usually watches which have a screw back have to be made thicker.Measures 32.5 mm across by 35.2 mm long.The watch has a very desirable stepped bezel, beefy lugs and gold Roman hour markers.Original sapphire crystal in great condition.Original blue stone set crown.The case is of 2 parts construction with a solid back.The bezel part extends deeper into the case and is secured with 8 screws from the back.The watch is running and keeping a fairly good time. Movement cal. 11 1/4''' rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, lever escapement,monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance-spring.The leather strap is a used alligator skin with an original Chopard gold plated buckle.
