Description: For sale is an Excellent condition Antique horse hair Chase motor car plush robe Buggy Blanket. This heavy and thick buggy blanket was featured in advertisements in Life Magazine. Chase company had made these heavy robes and other materials since 1847. In the Early 1900s basic automobiles were open to the air and very cold to be riding in the wind in winter. This particular blanket is from C 1917. It is 68" by 54". It is in excellent condition and is made from a combination of horsehair and wool which you can see upon close inspection of the photos.
