Description: About 9-10 years ago, I embarked on a wild goose chase in DeSoto, Missouri, following a promising tip about a hoarder property rumored to be full of “the goods.” Upon arrival, I was initially disappointed, finding little more than a new old stock radio and some old hardware. Just as I was about to leave, something caught my eye—three uniquely styled lighting fixtures, partially covered and lying on the ground of a shed. My curiosity got the best of me, and when I pulled these pieces from the ruins, I knew I had uncovered something truly remarkable! I was shocked! How could such treasures have been stored this way for all these years? A 1920s matching set, all in excellent condition but in need of some love. The intricate, ornate BRASS castings, the original gold and green paint, and the frosted, beveled glass panels were simply breathtaking 😍😍😍🤯🤯. All fixtures received a light cleaning and were professionally rewired with gold cloth cord. I kept the original sockets but replaced the insulators on the candlesticks and purchased five new beeswax candle covers. The glass shades are all original and in great condition overall.
