A hand seeder works good for small plots. Drag, roll or culti-pack the seedbed to cover the seed with 1/4-1/2" of soil max. RECOMMENDED DATES: Plant May 15-June 30 (upper midwest dates) or when soil temp is 55-70 degrees LOCATION: Most food plots require at least 50% sunlight. Soil test for nutrient and pH needs.
