Description: You will receive a healthy frontosa humphead cichlid (Cyphotilapia frontosa) juvenile tank bred and raised here in the USA. The fish you will receive are about 1.5" and unsexed. If you are looking to breed; purchasing 3 fish will give you 75% chance of male and female, 4 fish is 87.5%, 5 fish is 93.75%, and 6 fish gives you 96.8% chance. Pictures are not of the exact one you will receive but they are my pictures from my stock. These fish are best kept with other semi aggressive fish such as other cichlids. Similar to mbuna and peacock cichlids from lake Malawi, they also enjoy rocks and caves which provide hiding spots and reduce aggression. You can keep multiple lemon cichlids together and they will form a colony or keep them with other similar fish.
