It is nicely detailed and features a beautiful chipmunk, 2 beautiful morel mushrooms growing on a rotten log with slipping bark, there is also some fungus growing on the log. The chipmunk on this piece was carved from a piece of moose antler, everything else was carved from whitetail antlers. This piece stands approximately 4 inches tall and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long. This item was hand carved, hand painted, signed and given a quality clear coat to protect it for years to come. I have a lot of time invested in this one and it is absolutely beautiful. No animals were harmed to make this item. I only use shed antlers for my work and for those of you that don't already know, deer naturally shed their antlers every year, usually in the spring and then grow a new ( usually bigger ) set of antlers. In the spring, I walk countless miles looking for these shed antlers and I use the antlers that I find to create beautiful carvings.
