Heathkit IP-17 RECAP KIT for Power Supply w/ Instructions

Description: Up for sale here is this recap kit for the Heathkit IP-17. At this point these are around 50 years old, and the old parts are weak and failing, with leaky capacitors. We will make them new again! This kit includes replacement Supertech radial electrolytic and MPT film capacitors and six 1N4007 diodes. There is also a set of instructions included to explain how to install everything. You will get the exact parts shown in the picture. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I rebuild vintage gear. The old 70 uf capacitors are replaced with new 68 uf 450v caps, which are effectively the same. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is somewhat complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit will not fix everything that could be wrong with your equipment, but it will certainly help. Please see my pictures for details.
