The pit area is totally stocked per original specs. It is very rare to have NOS (New Old Stock) Flashing Red Lights. The rare collectable version original box panels are colorful and legible. The important Sean Connery image and most of the graphics look great! Cardboard panels glued inside stiffen the box so the box stands up firmly. A small hidden top flap is missing. There are tears, holes, cuts on the box, water damage, and signs of significant wear on the box and set. This is the rare box with the glossy color Sean Connery panel, and is very displayable and collectable. THESE TWO CARS: THE ASTON MARTIN DB5 AND MUSTANG FASTBACK ARE TRULY EXCELLENT! These cars are highly collectable. The bodies are in excellent condition. All of the chrome is intact. There is a little chrome darkening with slight chrome loss on one wheel. A front bumper tip is missing on the Mustang. The tires are soft pliable with plenty of grip. The glass looks fantastic. The chassis’s and screw posts are in great condition. These 2 cars are KILLER FAST. It is extremely rare to find O Gauge cars that run at all, much less well! It can take a lot of time and money to collect, complete, and tune-up these cars. Most will never run fast. I estimate that I bought 10 cars to get 2 cars that run fast and have such fantastic bodies. I have thoroughly cleaned, oiled and tuned these Aurora chassis’s to run great. The cars are in Q certifiable field ready condition.After 55+ years of 007 mystic, this slot car race set is in great shape, and possibly the most intriguing and collectible toy of the century. This set is in VERY GOOD FAST WORKING ORDER! It is hard to find a set with the cars even running, much less running fast, and the Flashing Warning Lights actually flashing! I include factory instructions. The set displays very well. I just took dozens of hours to service, hand-clean and polish the entire set, as well as tune the cars to be fast.
