Description: ***THIS LISTING IS FOR TWO UNPOPULATED BOARDS (BOTTOM OF THE PICTURE)***The complete, ready-to-go boards are available in another listing with the same picture if you'd rather go that route. If you don't have confidence in your soldering skills, that's the better option. These boards are for classic KLH Model Six, Seventeen, and Twenty speakers. Yes, all used the same crossover with an extra coil on the Model Six. Add you own caps and resistors to use a brand you prefer, or modify the values to customize the sound. Either way, the circuit is the same. This board retains the use of the original three way switch on the back of the speakers. Note that you need to use non-polarized capacitors in this (or any other) crossover as common polarized electrolytic caps will sound terrible. If you don't want to use screw terminals, you can solder the speaker wires in directly, they are clearly marked on the board and an instruction sheet is included. For Model Six, the JP1 jumper (white wire on the populated board in the picture) is replaced with the coil in the woofer circuit. On the 17/20s this is just a jumper. You can >probably< re use the original coil, but you'd have to check yours out to be sure. these are bare boards and will require you to solder them together. You must know how to solder to assemble the crossovers. You also need to source the relevant parts to populate the boards. NOTE: I try to keep a stock of these boards, but it is possible to run out and lead time to get them made is about two weeks. If this is the case I will let you know ASAP of any possible delays.
