Description: 🥥 FOR SALE 🥥 RARE KOBE SILK 1940’s Brown Pullover Ribbed Gaucho Men’s Hawaiian Shirt M 44 Chest A fantastic piece for the fellas, this early 40’s Gaucho shirt comes in cocoa brown, lemon yellow, baby and royal blues and bright white. A knit, ribbed bottom with nice, tight stretch, short sleeves, small pointed collar and seamed chest. There is a fabric label, but it’s faded and cannot be read. This is an incredible shirt with a tropical, Hawaiian print. Great for sipping cocktails on vacation or sitting poolside with shorts and boaters. MEASUREMENTS- Chest- 44 inches, but no stretch, so best for a 42 or smaller. Shoulders- 18 inches Length- 26 inches Waist Band- 28 to 40 inches with stretch Sleeve Length- 9.5 inches CONDITION- Good with flaws. The actual shirt itself is WONDERFUL. Good, strong silk construction. Tight, stretchy waistband, however, both shoulders have some moth damage that should be fixed. Me, personally? I’d buy brown patches and have the shoulders mended from the inside. The print is busy enough you’d not notice it. Other than that, the Gaucho is in nice, strong condition with vivid colors! I believe this to be a nice, thicker, Kobe silk. It’s possible it’s rayon, as it’s cool to the touch and drapes beautifully, but the moth damage leads me to believe it’s silk. *ALL SALES FINAL.
