Description: Antique Roses Porcelain Pink Trimmed Lusterware Pitcher VTG EUC MINT Early 20th Century Germany? Lusterware is a type of pottery or porcelain with a metallic glaze that gives it an iridescent, shimmering quality that gleams of bronze or gold when in candlelight is still sought after by collectors with it considered the poor man's silver or gold. This pitcher is an elegant and beautiful example of the Lusterware period in history. This pitcher holds 32 ounces of liquid and is decorated on only the front two sides with pink and purple flowers and green leaves. This pitcher is beautifully irregular in shape with it's squarish body and exaggerated handle and spout which makes it almost spill proof pouring liquids. This pitcher measures about 6.75" inches tall and 4.75" wide. The top diameter is roughly 4" inches. Check out my other listings for pottery, glass, porcelain, fabric and collectibles.
