Description: This clock is decent looking figural clock from a very desirable maker in Ansonia and runs great, from the Victorian era. Plus the blue tinted porcelain dial make it a bit rarer and better looking. I purchased it from a very high end clock auction in upstate new York last year and have on display in my little gallery. The movement has the proper number of strikes on the hour as well as a single on the halve hour and the 8 day movement runs nice and strong and steady. The clock very much appears to be all original, and I can find no signs of repairs or being dropped etc. The clock is in excellent working condition guaranteed and runs and strikes perfectly. It measures about 15" wide x 11" tall x 6" deep. Once again it just has a great look and I put it rite up there with many of my much more expensive clocks and would make a great addition to any collection. It was by Ansonia in their Brooklyn years after they moved from Ansonia CT and has a great Victorian look. I go over all my clocks before shipping and make sure I didn't miss anything and try my best to pack well. Everything goes insured just in case and my items are returnable. Please respect that and it does take a bit of time, I've been dealing clocks for over 30 years now, but boxes do occasionally get mishandled. Your covered please no quick draws and preparing takes time if you want start to tracking package the afternoon you order maybe think about it. Thanks for taking a look!!!
