Original Painting - Renown Artist Chester Fields ~ Eagle Osprey: Nature Wildlife

Description: Offered for sale is an incredibly detailed Original Painting titled "HIGHJACKER" by the Renowned Artist Chester Fields (American, b. 1945) of Spokane, Washington WA. Fields is best known for his design and creation of bronze eagle sculptures and wildlife art paintings. Perhaps his greatest achievement is the design of monumental 12-foot-high bronze eagles that adorn the grounds of some of the world's largest corporations. Fields has also designed bronze Mountain Lion Monuments for universities and has paintings in numerous museums and art galleries. Chester Field's original paintings are particularly scarce and all his works command high prices. "HIGHJACKER" appears to be done in acrylic paints on Masonite, but I am not completely certain as this is not my area of expertise. The painting is in wonderful condition with no cracking, warping, or discoloration to the paint. The work has been kept out of the sun for its entire life. The wood frame has some nicks and dents that are to be expected (photo 12). Brass "HIGHJACKER" plates appear on the front and back to denote the title of the painting. As can be seen in the photos, the painting does not have glass on the front. Chester Fields has signed the work in the bottom left corner and dated it "79," so the painting is 45 years old. There is a card attached to the back from Chester Fields' Art Gallery. The overall size of the work including the frame is 23" x 38." The actual image size of the painting as viewed from the front is 14.5" x 29.5." The painting will be very carefully packaged so it arrives undamaged.
