Description: It comes with washer and bolt!This is an improved reproduction of the factory battery hold-down bracket (Porsche part # 911 611 209 00). It is made in stainless steel rather than carbon steel as the original brackets. This will work with your original battery or with our TBMS Optima battery installation trays and kits for Porsche 911, 912E, 911 turbo, or 930 from 1974-1989. This bracket is bolted into the threaded hole at the front end of the battery and ensures the battery stays in place. Slide your battery all the way back and make sure the rear end of your battery engages into the angled bracket (a welded piece part of the factory battery support), then push this piece hard against the battery and bolt it down with your factory M8x20 bolt and washer. (Allen bolt on earlier cars, hex bolt on later cars) Shipping and handling is set at a flat rate of $7.80 to the lower 48 continental States using priority mail. If you also buy one of our Optima installation kits this bracket will be included without additional shipping charges. International shipping will be via priority mail.
