PSA 7 - 1985 Topps USFL # 65 Steve Young Los Angeles Express (49ers/Buccaneers)

Description: A PSA graded NM 7 – 1985 Topps USFL Pre-rookie card of NFL Hall of Famer Steve Young of the Los Angeles Express. This is Young's 2nd USFL card (the other was issued in 1984) and was issued one year prior to his official NFL rookie card with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers produced by Topps in 1986. Young played for the San Francisco 49ers from 1987-1999, earning 7 Pro-Bowl selections and the MVP Award in Super Bowl XXIX. This example has no creasing, bold printing, nice focus and clean edges. The corners are consistent with those found on most NM-MT+/MINT examples. The printing on the front is shifted to the top, but the card still displays well. On the back of the card, there is a light amount of printer's ink residue above the first letter "R" in the word "QUARTERBACK", but otherwise the back is clean with bold printing.
