Description: This is a Beautiful Estate Fresh old Art Glass Paperweight from a man that had one of the BEST old glass collections I have seen in a long time. It was an amazing accumulation of Art Glass Mid Century Modern and Early American Glass and I was lucky enough to purchase a beautiful assortment of it. This piece is a RARE 1979 BRIAN MAYTUM GLASS Co Iridescent ART GLASS Swirl Paperweight Signed. Its a very colorful piece in perfect condition as described above. It is signed and dated on the bottom. The signature reads Maytum Glass Co - which is before he started with the Matum Studio that had several other glass blowers under his cover name. The fact that is is 1979 makes it an early piece for him. The paperweight is approx 2.5" in diam and stands about 2 3/8" tall.
