Rare Antique Venetian Fancy Beads Beaded Necklace

Description: Here is an Antique Venetian Glass Beads beaded necklace that is rare and awesome! These beads are fluted/incised and elongated rather than round and melon shaped like the cream necklace that I have listed. There are two sizes. I believe this showcases the main colors that this type of fancy bead came in. They are fluted/incised while hot and then hand decorated with glass ribbons and avventurina. Definitely a fine collectable piece. Necklace is 14" long making this a choker type necklace. It may have been longer as there are signs of repair. There are 20 Venetian fancy beads measuring 12-14 mm. Each bead has a pair of brass filigree bead caps. There were clear seed beads used as spacers and only a few remain. The brass spring ring clasp is age appropriate to the piece. I see no issues with the beads. The bead caps show vertigris. The beads are strung on string which has broken sometime during this lifetime of this piece. You would have to restring this necklace to be on the safe side. As these beads are made by hand there will be variations in style, size, and decor. Please study the pictures carefully as they are an interal part of this listing.
