This is a very nice reel that looks good and works well. This reel has been refurbished and is painted Gunmetal Gray; it is a very nice spinning reel that operates well. All parts function as they should. The reel casts and retrieves line properly, the anti-reverse lever works, the drag works well, the reel spins freely, the bail snaps shut, and the handle reels properly and folds down for storage. There is wear and or scratches on the Gay finish including the frame, side plate, leg/foot, rotating head, spool and handle. There are paint chips on the rear edges around the side plate. The drag on this reel is from a larger Garcia Mitchell spool and it works great.
