Description: Rowland & Marsellus Plate Souvenir of New Bedford Massachusetts depicting 6 important buildings. Blue & white transfer ware likely made in the 1920's to early 1930's. So this is either already an antique or very close to 100 years old. Made in Staffordshire, England Designed and imported by The Charles F. Wing Co, New Bedford, Mass. Approximately 9.75" in diameter Plate has an indented bowl center Overall in good pre-owned antique/vintage condition. This appears to have been displayed using a plate hangar as there is one area on the rim that has a slightly rough feel and a bronze tone. There are a few tiny glaze chips on the rim edge likely also from a plate hangar. This also has glaze crazing visible on the back only due to the pattern. Crazing is normal for ceramics with age and some feel this adds to their vintage appeal. Please review all photos provided which includes some measurements.
