Description: Vintage SNOWSHOE COFFEE TABLE By SNOCRAFT 1970s Bent Oak/Rawhide Oval EXCTable is 38" long x 19.25" wide, 14.5" high. Bottom level shelf of table [woven rawhide] is 28" long x 17" wideSolid oak construction, wood has been hand bent. Golden Oak stain beautifully highlights the grain of the wood.Genuine hand stretched rawhide wrapped at edges and a wonderfully woven snowshoe pattern of rawhide serves as the lower level of the table. Makes gorgeous shadows on floor when light shines through.Screws holding the piece together are silver metal. Highly collectible and hard to find. Manufactured circa 1970-1979 in the Norwegian tradition of superior craftsmanship with a clean, sleek style. This is a fantastic table, great for use and is distinctive in style.Excellent vintage condition, no dents, no missing screws, no damage to wood other than a few faint but noticeable scratch lines on tabletop- darkened with age so not glaring- see last pic. NO damage to any of the rawhide tether weaving. It is in terrific condition- no dryness or splintering/cracking, and the weave is tightly bound, not loose. Some faint loss of oak stain to bottoms of all 4 feet from age [see last pics]. The bottoms of the feet can EASILY be touched up in minutes with a permanent wood stain marker, readily purchased online or at home improvement stores, in the correct shade [up to buyer]Ships fully insured & w tracking providedShipping cost reflects that this is a piece of furniture and therefore a heavy and large box to pack and ship.
