Description: I have a very large collection of books spanning many topics. A massive gathering of Philip K Dick titles and editions, as well as fine press, signed limited editions, modern firsts, radical movement and conceptual art items. This is part of the Six Tales of California series and was limited to 650 copies of each issue, issued bi-monthly during 1939, for a total of 6 issues in the set. Offered here is only a single issue. Each issue presented a historical sketch by a California writer, with each issue designed and printed by a different, California based small/fine press. This issue here is designed and printed by Johnck & Seeger, San Francisco. Chapbook approximate size is 9.5”T x 6.5”W, with a hand-sewn binding. 13 pages, thick stock quality paper. This is in solid VERY GOOD condition. Minor shelfwear to the edges, pages clean and free of markings. Very light toning to the edges of the front & rear covers. Preserved in an acid-free archival bag. Gift or collection quality. I will happily answer any further questions.
