Description: UKULELE- WINDSOR (MADE BY LYON & HEALY For MONTGOMERY WARD)- 21" LONG UKULELE MARKED 'WINDSOR' ON LABEL AT TOP WITH TUNING PEGS. My little bit of research says WINDSOR was made by LYON & HEALY (CHICAGO USA) for Montgomery Ward. Instrument is 21" high, and 6-1/2" long at the bottom and 2-1/4" wide...and has 17 frets. As found at a Maryland Eastern Shore Estate Sale...with two missing strings. In good vintage condition but with a small approx. 1-inch long split to the face (from the the circular hole outward (last 4 photos).Please use the photos to confirm the description and the condition.
