Description: ESTATE 14K FILGREE RING - SIZE 6-3/4 Lovely estate ring that might be a society, military, fraternity/sorority, or family crest of some kind. This was either my father's or my grandfather's ring. It's been stored away for decades. Looks like an Owl perched atop a shield. There is writing within the crest that is so small even with magnification I couldn't quite make it out. I've never seen this amount of fantastic filgree work in a long, long time! Very intricate. Inside band is marked 14K and I think the letter 'B' again hard to see that. Possibly Balfour, which would make sense. I believe the shield is set in a maroon colored onyx. I'm not sure. Photos are as blown up as my phone will allow, so hopefully, you get a good visual on this amazing ring. The total weight is 6 grams but I wouldn't know what the actual gold weight would be. You'll be quite pleased. Enjoy.
