Description: Gorgeous vintage 1930s Showa period off white silk crepe kimono as pictured. Beautiful medium weight off white textured silk crepe with front and back bamboo print and check print in medium navy blue accented with gold as pictured. Open front with no fasteners. Shown with a modern leather sash belt which is not included. This kimono would have been worn with an obi belt. This fabric drapes beautifully. The body is unlined and the inside of the collar and down both sides of the front are lined with off white cotton. This is from the estate of a retired USA Military officer who brought this kimono back from Japan. DESIGNER LABEL: No labels at all. CONDITION: Very good - The colors are bright and vibrant. There are no holes, rips, repairs, fading, odors, discoloration or other issues. SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Large to Extra Large depending on how you like your fit.
