Description: Vintage hand carved folk art walking stick / cane with an animal (deer?) carved into the handle. The animal has protruding ears, so its most likely not a bird...but I'm unsure what it is supposed to be. However, it is quaint! Based on patina I would guess this dates to the 1930s or 1940s. Metal tip at base. 33 inches in length. No cracking or splitting in the wood just some natural defects that the artist worked around on the handle. Securely wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube for safety. Selling an entire collection of canes. Check my other listings.
