Description: Okay, I'm not really sure how to describe this one, so I'm going to describe the build. I built this because a local tracking was doing an annual vintage race (pre-1990's). Everyone was using the releases of the RC10, but I thought I'd bring what I used to race (80s-90s ish). Which would have been a Jrx Pro SE. Built from parts, to the class specifications. I used all original are period correct parts. The chassis is a Junior 2 chassis with the sides shaved to make it the same width as the "slim-line" used on the Jrx Pro SE. This chassis is the same wheelbase as the "short" or buggy configuration on the Team Losi Slimline chassis. Shaving the sides makes it the same width and allows the use of the Jrx Pro SE Bodies. Then using only Team Losi and RPM parts, built basically the buggy I would have run in the late-1980s. RPM Front Swept Suspension Arms - More durable and give the Jrx Pro SE swept arm configuration RPM Rear Suspension Arms. - with the shock mount post trimmed to stock distance to use with the shock mounted on the rear of the shock tower and same as rear Team Losi H-Arm suspension configuration RPM Gear Cover - hard plastics and longer lasting Jammin Steering Enhancement Kit - Uses the Jammin Shock Tower with LXT upright for better steering, I also added the LXT Steering Arms for more clearance on the JC Racing Vintage Wheels Team Losi Friction Slipper - would have used a Hydra-Drive, but is indoor off-road and using brushless motors. Super Slider Axles - for freer moving telescoping rear axles. Team Losi LRM Transmission - Super reliable and period correct SkyRC Toro 160A Brushless Sensored Speed Controller - If they continued the class, would have considered upgrading a bitTrinity Punisher 13.5T Motor Futaba S9452 Digital Servo JC Racing Vintage Style Wheels to take modern carpet tires Shorty Battery Holdering - uses the stock battery cup and chassis positions, so no extra drilling was required The track did not do the race again this year, so needless to say I was a bit disappointed, after the amount of work I put into this. The transmission is a fresh build, with Jammin diff lube. The car has obviously not be run since I built it. It's a bit dusty, but basically a total rebuild (or custom build). I did take the receiver out, but left the rest of the electronics in, as I bought them specifically for this class of vintage racing. EVERYTHING WORKS. I tested it before I took the receiver out. I'm even going to include the battery seen in the picture. You can quite literally put a receiver in the car and go. This is really a bit of a unique build. I'm not sure if anyone has interest or has a club still doing vintage racing. Was really looking forward to this, but without a class for it, I don't have a use for the car. I put a lot of time, effort and thought into this car. I really wasn't going to sell it, but I don't have anyplace to race it. Soooo..... NOTE: I never mounted tires, or got wing buttons for the car. So, this car comes "AS-IS". What's in the pictures is what you get. Please ask questions now, as all sales are final. I tried to remember everything I could, but check the pictures...
