Description: This is a pair of men's Size 8D (medium) vintage genuine Redwing Pecos boots Model 1177 (later 1178s) in excellent pre-owned condition (please see all photos for condition). Boots were purchased +25 years ago and worn a few times, cleaned, and stored away in a temperature controlled environment. I have worn these boots 2 more times and put them aside again. Left boot back shaft is stamped "7 4" (July 1994). The Redwing Pecos Model 1177 was discontinued in the 90s and was replaced by the Redwing Pecos Model 1178 (now also discontinued). Online reviews note that the Redwing Pecos Model 1177 boots made in the 80s and 90s are superior in quality and materials (leather) to the present 1178s. Boots are a lighter color brown than the present 1178s dark brown color and show barely any wear. BEWARE: there may be "fakes" out there not made by Redwing USA.
