Description: Vintage Shakespeare Wonderod Spin Fishing Rod No. SP-121-EFA 7’0” This is a two-piece vintage Shakespeare Wonderod spin fishing rod. Model No. SP-121-EFA. Standard Taper design for light action use. Rod weighs 4.6 oz. Rod will handle 4-8 lb. test monofilament lines and lure weights of 1/4-5/8oz. Rod dates to October 1965. 11 3/4” specie cork grip with a 4” black anodized aluminum sliding ring locking spinning reel seat. The standard stainless steel hookeeper is an addition to the rod. There are six (6) “new/old stock” stainless steel spinning guides previously four (4), and a “new/old stock” tip top. Black aluminum Swiss style ferrules. Blade is Wonderod white with dark green nylon guide winds extended. Rod is finished with a premium grade of glass rod varnish. Specie cork has been cleaned, patched, and reconditioned. Rod sections pack separately in clear plastic rod sleeves enclosed in a brown fiber rod storage tube with plastic end caps. We ship USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground well protected and insured.
