Description: Rare 1940s or 50s VINTAGE RAYON SHIRT WITH A LOOP ON THE COLLAR AND FLEUR de LIS DESIGN, Size Small (marked 14-14 1/2). Brand is Shapely. These shirts just aren't around much anymore because they have been so beloved as Vintage to wear by both men and women (they breathe, are so comfortable and have a beautiful drape along with all their Postwar and Midcentury Style and Cachet). Long sleeves like these are even harder to find. The Greatest Generation loved them, now so few Rayon "Sportsshirts" left! This Baby Blue Rayon gem is still with us only because it was too small for me! Eventually I had growing sons who each wore it gently for a special occasion, then outgrew it. Time now for a new owner. I want to highlight the repairs which I find so touchingly and expertly mended, and are easy to miss completely as they disappear so. Three front button areas need attention, but these areas do not show at all. Collar and cuff button areas are just fine. Please be sure to see photos.
