Exquisitely carved by master woodworker! Wonderful carved wood Storyboard from the Kambot Tribe are a tradition in the lower Sepik region. The story board tells a story which includes village life, adventures and encounters with wild animals and spirits. They are displayed in men's houses as decorations. Storyboards are unique and of of a kind in gorgeous 3d relief design and they began in the 1960s as a replacement for bark boards and were too fragile to last. This storyboard is being sold in as is as found condition and is not returnable. The story board has a woven handle for hanging - would make a statement wall decoration for your home, office or gift someone special! Will be sold in 48 contiguous states within the United States.
