Description: Up for sale is a Vintage Harry Keiser Women's Purple Prom Dress/Formal Gown from the 1950s. This is tagged a Size 12 (back in the 50's!) but it will not fit someone who wears a size 12 in today. I normally wear a size 6-8 and I could not zip this all the way up so please be aware that this will not fit someone today who wears a size 12. PLEASE review measurements and compare to something you own!!! No returns on this item. This was my friend's mom's Prom Dress. It has been stored securely over the years. It is a light lavender with purple accents. The light purple material looks to be taffeta but I am not sure as there is not a material tag in the dress. This dress is in quite good condition for it's age but does have a few spot/stains on the back as seen in pictures and there are a few places near the hem that show staining/discoloration. This is not noticeable however due to the shine/sheen of the material and the way the light hits it. This dress needs a good steaming to get the wrinkles out which I did not do thus the wrinkled bottom/look of the dress. The bust area is roomy with darts that are hard to capture in pictures so keep that in mind when looking at the bust measurement laying flat. I am a 34C and this was snug on me in the bust area. This is really a beautiful dress! Nonsmoking home. Thank you for looking!!
